Haha, go sort your chainguide now!
all you have to do.. undo the two bolts that hold the bottom roller on, remove that part. Then put the chain over it and bolt it back on. - that way you dont have to take the crank off

They can. Ive left them at 785 on my full sus, 750 on my hardtail.
Though if your going to cut them down by so much, why buy them?

welll that depends they use loads of tracks the hardest one in my opinion has already gone but they all rock but the competion is very tight
